Seamless gutter installation method

Installation of the seamless gutter system is very simple. All you need is a few tools, such as end cap crimper, pipe crimper and gutter outlet punch, which will make the installation easier.

Before you start the fitting, place the whole piece of metal gutter on a flat surface and fit it with fascia board hangers by putting them inside the gutter and lock. The gutter with hangers positioned inside becomes rigid. Recommended interval between hangers is 40-45cm. For fitting hangers to the back of the gutter you should use screws (4,8×35 mm).

Then you should mark a drop outlet position. When you do it the drop outlet shape needs to be cut out and then the outlet is fitted from the top, adhered and secured with remomable rivets. Next step is to close seamless gutter with end caps on the right and on the left and to crimp end caps with the crimper (horizontal gutter sealing). The gutter fitted in such a way can be now fixed to the fascia board with screws.

Large industrial buildings that are longer than 30 m often require the gutter to be be partitioned into at least 2 elements, which should be connected with adhesive and steel rivets (one of the options is the use of coloured rivets) or screws.

The next stage in seamless guttering installation is fitting of down pipes. First we attach pipe clamps every 1.5 -2 m, then we measure the length of the pipe and the distance between the gutter and the wall, (including elbows) and combine all parts by inserting one into another, joining and securing them with rivets or screws.

We connect down pipes to the sewage system with a special connector.
